Oracle Corporation has introduced seven services accessible via Oracle Cloud during the Oracle Technology Network Developer Day: Cloud Application Development held at Infinity Ballroom, F1 Hotel Manila, 32nd Street Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Philippines, May 21.
Among the seven services are Java, Database, Enterprise Resource Planning, Human Capital Management, Talent Management, Sales and Management, and Customer Service and Support.
Mr. Christer Cruz, a Lead Database Architect from Oracle, has conducted a walkthrough on how to access the Oracle Cloud website. This has provided the participants especially the first time developers to understand how to setup the Cloud Service using their own Oracle account.
Meanwhile, Mr. Andre Dela Paz, iTech Asean, shared his expertise on the Database Cloud Service. His presentation included the overview and concept of the topic. He mentioned that the existing Oracle Cloud Service makes use of MetaData to easily import objects from a file going to the Cloud. Moreover, it augmented the participants’ knowledge since his presentation involved series of demonstration like the actual importing and editing of pages, and databases using Oracle Application Express.
Gracing the last topic was Mr. Francis Tuazon who discussed the Java Cloud Service using of course the available Oracle Cloud Service. (AAP)
