The Power of Strings

Could you imagine a concert without musical instruments? Visualize the performers like the Black Eyed Piece, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Regine Velasquez, Maroon 5 or even the Journey band performing on stage in acapella, do you think they will become effective and get that standing ovations? I don’t think so.

In a musical performance, every element of stage should be synchronized to one another, not only the singers/vocalist. This is essential because the audience will look after the totality of your performance not just you as a singer, guitarist, drummer, or keyboardist.

Based on experience, there is a significant reason why performing is accompanied by musical instruments. Not only it adds effect to the music but it makes the presentation more dramatic depending on the event or venue. Like in our case as acoustic band performer, we use two acoustic guitars: one for the rhythm and the other one for the base or melody.

Also, it depends on the genre of the songs that the band is playing. If your band is playing pop or rocks songs and the venues are astrodome or arena, of course your band needs to make use of electric guitars. You might as well consider purchasing branded electric guitars. I suggest for branded because it will ensure you that it could last for quite some time. You can check out this kind where you can save on hagstrom at musicians friend.

As an acoustic band, guitars for us are like members of the family because without it on stage, our performance will be nothing. (AAP)
