IECEP Manila Chapter Officers and Members Joins the 63rd IECEP Mid-Year-Year Convention

The venue maybe far from their respective homes but IECEP Manila Chapter has assured that they can partake to this important event!

Despite the stormy weather condition of our country, IECEP Manila Chapter was able to attend the recently concluded 63rd IECEP Mid-Year Convention held at the Grand Caprice, Lim Ket Kai Center, Cagayan de Oro City, June 14-15.

With the theme, “iecep CARES: Committing to Excellence, Advocating Professional Advancement, Recognizing Achievements and Endeavors, Educating Electronics Family towards Social Responsibility and Environment Protection,” there were twenty five (25) participants from the Manila Chapter which composed of four (4) officers and twenty one (21) members.

Aside from that, IECEP Manila Chapter was also one of the sponsors of this National Mid-Year Convention.

The following ECEs and PECEs representatives were not only present but they actively participated in the said event. Among the officers were Engr. Anne E. Dulay, Engr. Aleksandre A. Pates, Engr. Armand C. Ursal, and Engr. Oliver R. Mariano; while for the members, we have Engr. Stanley Ducal, Engr. Eugene Castro, Engr. Wilfredo Cortel, Engr. Divino Fortunato, Engr. Cherry Gregorio Encelan, Engr. Raymond Torres, Engr. Emmanuel Casigal, Engr. Rey Acidera, Engr. Harold Perez, Engr. Russell Alfonso, Engr. Donald Lapiguera, Engr. Katherine Galvez, Engr. John William Orillo, Engr. Nilo Arago, Engr. August Thio-ac, Engr. Francisco Culibrina, Engr. Flordeliza Valiente, Engr. Marianne Sejera, Engr. Jennifer Dela Cruz, Engr. Paolo Gabriel Casas, and Engr. Matthew Lewis Chan.

It was also a perfect for this convention that representatives from different chapters all over the Philippines were present, that’s why Engr. Melvin Acosta, the incumbent IECEP National President have called for a Governor’s Meeting. Unfortunately, Engr. Ronnie O. Serfa Juan, the current IECEP Manila Chapter Governor wasn’t able to attend the said convention due to cancellation of flight in Manila because of the storm. As the substitutes, Engr. Pates and Engr. Ursal were the representatives who attended the said meeting. (AAP)
