Are you soon to get married? Well, there are lots of things that an engaged couples should consider like the church, receptions, bridal car, etc. Commonly, a couple needs to allot at least 6 months to 2 years of preparation for the biggest event of their lifetime and sometimes, it takes 3 or more years of preparation depending of course on the situation.
Last March 9-10, I had the privilege to attend a special event for the soon-to-get married couples: the Wedding Expo Philippines which held at the Ground Floor, SMX Convention Center.
It was my first time to attend to this kind of exhibit and I was quite impressed with how the organizers have arranged the venue and their respective presentations. This was a great opportunity for the soon-to-wed couples because most of the exhibitors offer great discounts. Also, participants have the chance to win in every hour raffle draws wherein the prizes were related to the couple’s wedding celebration.
The event organizers have presented a wide variety of exhibitors (from the Bridal car, up to the wedding rings and bibles for the entourage, down to the wedding gowns, cakes, receptions, souvenirs, wines, and photo and video coverage). Also, they have some exhibitors who offer wedding performers in church and reception. However, I noticed there were only 2 of them. On the other hand, while I’m covering this event, I saw these two great good friends of mine: Niño and Mary Grace. They were my former officemates in my previous company and we had a really nice chitchat inside the SMX Convention.

If you missed the date, don’t worry, because you can still go to the Philippine Wedding Summit Year 8 on June 22-23, 2013 at the World Trade Center, Manila. If you’re not available on the said dates, they will have another Wedding Expo event on September 21-22, 2013 at the same venue, Ground Floor, SMX Convention Center.
