If one can say, there’s a paradise in Boracay and Pagudgud because of its impressive white sand beaches, well I can say that Padi has its own definition of paradise here in Morong Bataan.
Just before the summer season has started last March, our company (West EIT) has conducted its Team Building in Padi sa Morong Bataan. At first, I’m puzzled with the name of the place why it’s called Padi (it’s like Padikit /to stick/or Padipa /to spread sideways wide open arms/). The practical reason, the beach house is located in Padi Street, Strand Subdivision, Barangay Nagbalayong, Morong Bataan. Now we know!

You can reach Padi sa Morong Bataan after an approximate 4-5.5 hours of travel time from Manila (including all stop over). This is based on a regular Sunday morning travel, I don’t know if there is a significant time difference during weekdays. It is advisable to have your lunch and buy other stuffs at Subic since there are no nearby commercial stores in Padi.

Actually, there is nothing rare or unique in Padi: it is just a stylistic modern white beach house facing West Philippine Sea (South China Sea). But what makes it special is the solemnity of the place since it is located inside a private subdivision: the more personal the place it becomes, the more enjoyable it is for the guests, which only means that you can solely enjoy the beach during your entire stay privately. You’ll surely love walking in barefoot because of the texture of the sand; not really a white sand beach but definitely as powdery as the sands of Station 1 in Boracay.
Padi sa Morong Bataan
The house is quite big enough to accommodate an average of 15-20 persons (in our case, we were 17 including the two drivers). It has four bedrooms: three of which are located at the second floor and has a balcony and each of it can accommodate 2-3 persons, while the remaining room is at the ground floor beside the living room which can accommodate 5-8 persons (maybe with the use of extra bed mattresses). It has a large living room that has a 9-ball billiard table and an entertainment system where you can either sing all day and night with its videoke or watch your favorite movies with its surround speakers if nobody would like to participate in the noise pollution. However, the movies are not available and you still need to bring one.

Although the kitchen facade is not so new, I think that it will still attract any chefs to cook their masterpieces because of the almost complete equipments. Take note that not all utensils and equipments are seen outright, you have to approach the care taker so that they can get it for you from their stock room.
- A relaxing private pool with a view of beautiful mountains from afar.
The dining room is good for 10-12 people and it has a half-octagon shaped facing the private pool. Yes, a 4-6 feet deep private pool that would let you feels the unsalted water all over your body. The front of the pool lets you see the side panorama of the modern house and on the other side; it lets you see the amazing shape of the nearest mountain from afar.
Most of the reservation lasts only for an overnight like what we’ve had for our Team Building, and since we want to make it a memorable one, we’ve created our own party with games at the side of the beach using only the lights of the Bonfire. You can request for Bonfire materials from the care taker for only P300 but you need to inform them ahead of time (the moment you make your reservation).

The accommodation costs P 15,000.00 (good for 15 persons – there will be additional fee exceeding 15. Try to call them to confirm if they already changed this policy.), and the house is yours for an overnight stay. To prevent confusion, I would like to emphasize that this is not a hotel but rather a beach rest house. The accommodation does not include food and personal toiletries. Hence, you must bring one as you really need to.

Marami din siyang mga kalapit na mga bahay pero halos mga bahay bakasyunan kaya okay lang mag-ingay. N’ung time namin, nagvideoke kami plus nag-ingay sa beach kahit madaling araw, wala namang nagalit. 🙂

Hi, for bigger group you can try shercon, or club morocco. For small groups I would say pansol or alta roca. Hi Aleks, wla lang, nang-gugulo lang.. haha… bring back the memories ba ang drama pag pumunta dun sa mga sinu-ggest kong mga resort. haha… Ganda ng place, pero malayo ata yan…hehe. Suggest ko rin ito: Coritos Garden near Lipa – jan kami mag outing ng Family on April. We have tried Punta de fabian and Thunderbird – both in Rizal, they are amazing and malapit lang sa manila =)
Ahahaha… Uu naman Onin, it brings back good memory to me! ‘yung Coritos Garden near Lipa, hindi pa’ko nakakarating mukhang promising ang place kasi tunog sosyal. Hehehe… ‘yung Punta de Fabian hindi pa din ako nakakapunta. ‘yung Thunderbird yata, medyo expensive pero maganda naman. (^_^)

So nakausap ko si Mister Vince and the family and I are planning to spend New Years here. Is it pretty easy to get around to? My family is not too far from the place (they’re coming from Olongapo City) but my boyfriend and I will be coming from the airport. The beach house is very nice and I like the fact na private sya. Gusto sana namin magrent ng villa sa Subic pero fully booked na lahat. Maintained ba yung bahay and the facilities?

Yup, mabilis lang siyang puntahan. Pwedeng commute pero mas maganda kung may car kayo kasi mas mapapadali ang trip n’yo lalo na kung marami kayong mgma dalang gamit. Yes, well-maintained po ang beach house and may care taker po sa beach house na ‘yun. Goodluck and hope you enjoy your vacation with your family.

As far as I remember, they have a nearby market place which they call ‘bayan’ where you can buy fresh seafoods. In our case, we packed our own raw foods in the car instead of buying it there to lessen the time it takes to prepare our food.

Generally safe ba yung vicinity ng Padi , i mean during the night specially if family ang mag stay. Is there street lights inside the Strand Subdivision? Safe ba mag swimming sa beach ?

Safe naman sa tapat ng beach sa Padi. Hindi kasi kami lumalabas sa streets kapag gabi. Sa bahay lang kami, then sa beach.
